About us
Bird pervs is a solo passion project spurred on by the lack of friends who take part in the age old activity of bird watching. I wondered how I might encourage my peers to experience the excitement of seeing a new feathered friend.
The brand came into existence whilst standing in the shower, daydreaming of a willy wagtail with bags of cocaine for a tail. That made me giggle." Maybe others would giggle too?" I thought to myself. But what if the birds are too niche for your everyday Joe-schmo? Well I guess they'll have to learn more about our avian overlords.
Our goal
We're here with the sole purpose of encouraging everyday folk to acknowledge the birds they see around them on a daily basis.
If the outcome of you coming to this website is just stepping outside tomorrow, seeing that Magpie (dragpie) that nibbles worms on the front lawn each morning and saying "Hey, thats a magpie (dragpie)." then our job is done.
We believe the first step in building a better planet is recognising the beauty that exists around us at all times.
In a world increasingly disconnected from our natural origins, we believe the first step in building conservation is acknowledging the beauty in the mundane.
